Introduction

"You may kill me, but you can not kill my kind. With each generation, the Warren witches will grow stronger -- until, at last, three sisters will arrive. Together, these three sisters will be the most powerful witches the world has ever known. They will be the Charmed Ones."

Phoebe, Piper, and Paige

Charmed originated on the WB, in 1998 and ran on the now defunct network for eight seasons. It is a show about three sisters who just happen to be witches, and how they must use their gifts to protect the innocent and vanquish the evil baddies plaguing San Francisco. The original three were Prudence "Prue" Halliwell, Piper Halliwell, and Phoebe Halliwell. However, at the end of the third season, Prue lost her life when under an demonic attack by the hitman Shaxs. The Charmed circle was broken forever. Or was it?

At the beginning of the fourth season, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell discovered the possibility of reconstituting the Power of Three, the Charmed Circle. All through a young woman by the name of Paige Matthews, who so happens to be their baby half-sister, by their mother Patty and her whitelighter Sam Wilder. With Paige's help, the Charmed Ones were reborn and ready to take on their destiny as protectors of the innocent again, albeit at a shaky start.

Now by now, you're probably wondering, "What does this have to do with a virtual series? Are we continuing the show with a fan written season nine?" No we're not. Although the later seasons of Charmed improved greatly as the seasons went on, there was a time when the writers of Charmed greatly disappointed their fans, (myself included) with the horror known as season 5 of Charmed. The story lines went from dark, dramatic, and intense to a light, fluffy, and overly comedic aspect... not to mention the target audience of the show was changed, ending in the result of the slipping of ratings for the series.

Unhappy with the turn out of season 5 of Charmed I, as well as my team of writers, set off on the task of "correcting" this... in a sense, by creating a virtual season where we had a season 5 of Charmed that is true to original format of this amazing series. We accomplished that task with Charmed: Alternate Season 5. We created our own version of how the plot line of Charmed could have gone if season 5 focused less on fairy tale mythology, by writing "scripts" for that season ourselves.

But it does not end there, after some time and hard work we are finally ready to return with a follow up alternate season, an alternate season 6 to carry on the stories brought to the fore by the alternate season 5.
