1. What made you want to write for Charmed: Alternate Season 5?

I've always wanted to write for a fanfic series, because after I graduate I'm hoping to go into something with television production (that's my ideal job). I first applied to write for weathered-halo.net's "The Charmed Spell" but I guess they didn't like me, they didn't even return my e-mail, then a week or so later I came upon this site and well (ashamed) honestly I applied before I even read any of the episodes. (But after I applied I began readings ASAP). I didn't even think that I'd get an e-mail back (being treated the way I was with "The Charmed Spell") but thankfully I did and I'm so glad because this series rox!

2. What is your favorite episode of Charmed: Alternate Season 5 so far?

God I have so many..."Lead Us Not Into Temptation" is my ALL-TIME fav! I also liked "Trick Or Die" & "Blood Donor"

3. What character do you enjoy writing for the most and why?

I like to write for all four of the Charmed Ones (including Prue, when I can). I just like to bring out what the real writers of "Charmed" have forgotten about their characters. I hope it shows and I hope everyone enjoys it.

4. If you could have lunch with any character from Charmed: Alternate Season 5, who would it be?

Phoebe... maybe I could knock some sense in her head about her destined 2 b evil husband!!

5. What would you like to say to all the fans who support Charmed: Alternate Season 5?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! In my short time here @ C:AS5 BIG things have happened in my life and I've changed so much. Some things have been unbarable to handle but I've always found comfort in this series and with the people I've learned to trust & care for here. YOU FANS MAKE IT WORTH WHILE!! I used to think people who are always saying "thank you" to their fans and how special it touches them that someone's supporting them was just a crock & that it's just a natural thing to say but it's not...trust me, it's not...it means the world to me to know you guys are there 100% and I wish everyone could have friends like YOU!!!!!

1. What made you want to write for Charmed: Alternate Season 5?

The thing that made me want to write [for], Charmed: Alternate Season 5 from the start was the chance to alter the things that have happened. With a television show like Charmed there are so many possibilities and different ends that it's almost impossible to list all of the events. Then there was the fact that, I really like the plotline that the alternate season five started with. I thought it was something really good to work off of and expand.

2. What is your favorite episode of Charmed: Alternate Season 5 so far?

My favorite episode of C:AS5 would have to be Bittersweet. lol! Know I might sound arrogant for thinking this, b/c I did help write it, but I always wanted a past episode where Cole could look back at his dark days as Belthazor. They never explored his life back then. Did he regret his destiny? Did he go to the demon academy? Was he a mess up with his powers? How hard is it to make an energy ball? Seeing the becoming of a character is very interesting. Besides Toni Braxton is one of the favorite music artists and I've always wanted to see her on an episode of Charmed.

3. What character do you enjoy writing for the most and why?

Good question, seriously. The character that, I enjoy [writing for] the most in C:AS5 would have to be Draco. He has so much dynamic. That's what a lot of the warlocks in Charmed are missing, b/c they're all like "I must destroy the Charmed Ones" and they end [up] exploding in the end. That gets really annoying after five seasons and this season introduces a big bad who not only has a good plan - but is related to an already established good character who has a relationship with one of the Charmed Ones. If that isn't drama then, I must be mistaken.

4. If you could have lunch with any character from Charmed: Alternate Season 5, who would it be?

I'd have lunch with the Oracle. Sorry. She wouldn't charge for readings and she'd be an interesting person to have a conversation with. I've always been curious about the Oracles, b/c they seem to be so sneaky. They all have their own personal vendettas that get in the way of how they serve the Source. How old are they? Why do they look so young? Can they fight? All questions I'd ask while enjoying a good sandwich.

5. What would you like to say to all the fans who support Charmed: Alternate Season 5?

I'd like to say, "thank you so much" to all of the fans who support the project. I personally didn't think it would be this big, but people who enjoy Charmed really do like the stories we all write. It's a good feeling to have. Stay tuned and keep watching - things are going to go from good to better.

Episode Reviewer

1. What made you want to review episodes for Charmed: Alternate Season 5?

I wanted to be a reviewer because I think that not only is this a fantastic site but the episodes are amazing. I thought the show deserved some positive feedback and I was happy to be the one to give it. The writing and writers of the show are wonderful but there were times when I felt they could improve and I wanted to be the one to point them in the right direction. It's also terrific to be part of such a talented team!

2. What is your favorite episode of Charmed: Alternate Season 5 so far?

Hmm, now that's a tricky question. They're all fantastic and they all have different bits that make them good so its really difficult to choose. I think it would have to be 'Lead Us Not Into Temptation', Piper was great in that and Piper is my fave character but there still managed to be stuff about the other two sisters as well. I also seem to remember that I could hardly think of any negative things to write in my review, which has to be a good sign! But I love them all, who wouldn't?

3. Who is your favorite character in C:AS5 and why?

Normally Piper is my favourite character and I think she's great in C:AS5 but I also feel that the writers have really brought Paige to the fore in this season and very successfully too, I might add! The whole storyline with Matt and Paige really made those two, especially Paige, my favourite characters this time around.

4. If you could have lunch with any character from Charmed: Alternate Season 5, who would it be?

I would have lunch with Phoebe, simply because I think she has the most interesting standpoint with Piper's pregnancy, her niece and nephew, Paige and Matt's relationship, how Leo is coping with fatherhood and, most importantly, the return of Cole and whether she thinks they can finally make it work this time.

5. What is your opinion on the storylines in Charmed: Alternate Season 5? Do you like them? Why or why not?

I like the relationship storylines in Charmed, with Paige and Matt and Phoebe and Cole. Also, like in 'Lead Us Not Into Temptation', the relationship between the sisters. The episodes more about these relationships are, in my opinion, the better episodes and I think the writers managed to fully develop these storylines, particularly when Prue 'came back', as this and others was handled in a very sophisticated fashion. The ongoing storyline about Draco/Max and Matt is very good and every aspect of this relationship is explored making the audience wonder what will be pulled out of the magical hat next. Some of the demonic storylines were very good but I felt could have been discussed further, such as 'Blood Donor' and and the 'sacred blade' in 'Past Innocence'. All in all, however, I think that the storylines are fantastic and could definitely rival the 'real' show.

1. What made you want to create Charmed: Alternate Season 5?

Well... originally the virtual series was suppose to be written before the real season 5 of Charmed aired, in the summer of 2002 as a look at what might happen in season 5. But the project was postponed and eventually the real season 5 had already started to air before the virtual series was completed. After season 5 started airing, I was somewhat disappointed with how it was going and decided to revive this virtual series. I mean like I asked before, who didn't want Phoebe and Cole to get back together? Paige to finally get a steady boyfriend? And for there to be another evil adversary for the Charmed Ones besides Cole?

2. What is your favorite episode of Charmed: Alternate Season 5 so far?

I have more than one favorite, but my absolute favorite episode of C:AS5 so far would have to be Past Innocence! The concept of the Charmed Ones having to save past innocents was very intriguing to me, not to mention the storyline with Paige/Matt and Matt/Draco was excellently written in my eyes. It's one of those episodes that by the end it leaves you with questions that you just have to come back for more. Like what exactly is the "sacred blade"? What does Draco have planned for Matt? Will the sisters ever find out that Matt and Draco are brothers? A close second would have to be Draco's Exposé. I love that episode as well!

3. What character do you enjoy writing for the most and why?

The character I enjoy writing for the most is... while my answer counts as two. I most enjoying writing the Paige/Matt scenes. I guess it's because their relationship is so fresh and new. They're aren't as established as the Piper/Leo and Phoebe/Cole relationships, and I get to play around with them without having to follow any set rules on how they're suppose to act around another. I get to make up the rules of their relationship as we progress through the season. I like the freedom writing for them gives you that the other couples don't allow you to have when writing for them. For instance, it's fun to make Matt and Paige serenade one another. I couldn't see Phoebe and Cole or even Piper and Leo doing that with one another because of the way their relationships were established during the first four years of Charmed.

4. If you could have lunch with any character from Charmed: Alternate Season 5, who would it be?

Well that's an easy one. I would want to have lunch with Piper. She's my favorite character (next to Prue that is) on Charmed. Plus out of the characters I have the most in common with her. We're both a middle child, we're both very close to our sisters, like Piper I used to be very shy and quiet (that was until I got to high school), we've both lost an older sibling, and we're both very sarcastic (just ask any of my close friends). With us having so much in common I know I would have the greatest time having lunch with Piper. We'd just hang out and talk about our lives and what we like to do for fun.

5. What would you like to say to all the fans who support Charmed: Alternate Season 5?

I would like to say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! You don't know how much your support for Charmed: Alternate Season 5 means to me, to us all here! There have been times when I wondered if I should even continue the series at all, but the support we've gotten over the past year gives me the strength and courage to keep this series going. I know that might sound a tad cliché but it's the truth! If it weren't for you the fans, there'd be no Charmed: Alternate Season 5!!
