Paige's Abilities

Please Note -- Listed on this page are not accurate recordings of the Charmed Ones' powers. The powers on this page are not coherent with the actual series Charmed. Instead we have their powers listed the way they have grown and evolved in our virtual series.

Orbing -- Classified as an active power.

The ability to orb is a teleportation power that all whitelighters possess. When orbing a person's body disintegrates into blue lights losing corporeal form, which allows them to travel from one area to another instantly. This includes different realms. A dominant power in half whitelighter offspring, orbing is Paige's initial power - a power she inherently had all her life according to the whitelighter Leo Wyatt.

The earliest known existence of Paige using her orbing power is at age sixteen, when fearing for her life she orbed from the car wreck that killed her adoptive parents without even realizing it. Paige's power originally was only triggered by life endangering fear, but when her Wiccan powers developed Paige eventually learned to control her orbing without a fear response.

At its beginning stages Paige's orbing was stationary, only allowing her to orb in and out in the same place. This gave her just enough time to dodge projectile attacks. As time went on Paige learned to move across rooms, towns, and even planes. As of now her orbing is restricted to the mortal realm and the Underworld. She cannot orb to the heavenly planes of the Elders.

Telekinetic Orbing -- Classified as an active power.

Paige like her older sister Prue inherited the power of telekinesis from Melinda Warren. However, instead of the traditional telekinesis Paige possesses an interesting mix of telekinesis and orbing. She can move objects from one place to another by orbing them, when her gift is channeled through her spoken voice. Paige's power to telekinetically orb objects manifested itself after the Charmed Ones were officially reconstituted - therefore making it her second developed power but her first witch power.

With concentration this power allows Paige to call objects to her more conveniently than with traditional telekinesis, as she does not have to worry about walls, ceilings, or other obstructions limiting the effectiveness of her power. A drawback to this power is that is less direct than traditional TK.

Paige does not have to be exactly accurate when calling for an object to orb it, as long as her focus is on a particular target the words she uses act mainly as a trigger to activate her power. This also reigns true when she is orbing objects into another place or position. For example, but commanding "Crystals! Circle!" she is able to orb five citrate crystals at equidistant points around the Source of All Evil representing a pentagram.

Telepathy -- Classified as a passive power.

Paige originally possessed a latent power of the whitelighter ability known as sensing. The power gave her a sixth sense for demonic activity and the ability to sense the location of those emotionally close to her. Yet, after a spell gone awry, Paige's sensing power was amplified allowing her to pick up on the surface thoughts around her. Thusly, granting her with a mild form of telepathy.

Her telepathy not only allows her to read the surface thoughts of others, but to also project her thoughts into the minds of others but they must be in close proximity to work in either way (a 100 foot range). Despite Paige casting the spell to be able to solely hear the thoughts of Matthew Johnson in an ironic twist of fate he telepathy works on anyone but Matthew, as he is immune to her power.

As of now Paige is only able to link together the minds of three or less individuals including her own. Otherwise, her telepathy simply acts a listening force for those in her power range.
