The Ex-Files Review
Written By: Melissa
I enjoyed the teaser although saying that they were going to
have a demon-free night was just asking for trouble. I also liked
the way the episode didn't focus on the demon, in fact I was enjoying
it so much I almost forgot about him. Piper's baby's powers were
cool, I thought the special powers were just in the dream but
obviously not, groovy. I liked the idea behind the 'Ex-Files'
and thought it was executed really well though a Cole jealous
of one of Phoebe's many ex-es would have been frightening. I liked
him and the guys in the cardgame, especially Darryl, I felt like
we hadn't seen him in ages. Great description of the demon, made
it colourful, and seeing as though Draco has not been in it for
a while it makes me worried about what he's up to. Wicked paralysis
spell, though other was a bit wordy. The dialogue didn't flow
right but the stage directions gave just enough detail.
I liked Glenn being after Paige, she deserves having two men
after her, though she remained faithful to Matt. And talk about
a build-up of tension! I just knew Matt was going to walk in on
something dodgy looking, I hope he and Paige don't split up! I
hated his sulking at the end but it reminded me of their depth
of feeling for one another and when he said about Paige squinting
her eyes, it was cute because it showed how intimate they were.
I like her cool new power, it hasn't been mentioned in a while
but it's different and it's good. Lovely tension when Piper and
Dan were talking though I'd have loved to have seen the lunch,
just to watch them squirm, but I'm glad that she and Leo are so
solid. Phoebe's on a serious back-burner at the moment too she's
really going for that middle sister role. 9/10 because
the relationships were great and bits of the dialogue were fantastic.
